Music For TV

I'm a composer/sound designer currently based out of Hamilton, Canada. I developed a deep interest in music at the age of 10, when my parents bought me my first drum set. By 16 I was playing in several punk, rock and school jazz groups. Around this time I began picking up garage sale guitars, Casio keyboards and any other instrument I could afford, to begin writing music in my spare time.

After high school, I played drums for several Calgary punk and indie rock groups. When I turned 21, I moved to Toronto to attend Harris Institute For the Arts. During my first semester there, an opportunity came up to join Treble Charger, who had just signed a recording contract with RCA/BMG. I dropped out of school to join and over the next 10 years we recorded 3 albums (2 earning gold status and 1 platinum) and toured extensively, opening for such bands as Foo Fighters and Dandy Warhols. When the band had time off, I kept busy with session drumming (most notably with Canadian punk icons SNFU) and I wrote music for several TV programs and ads. In 2003 Treble Charger ended it's 14 year career and I moved into writing music for media full time.
